Häuslein Announce New Toy Hauler Model

Port Macquarie, NSW, December 16, 2022 - Häuslein Tiny House Co, (www.hauslein.com.au), the Australian tiny house manufacturing company, today announce the launch of its new toy hauler model – the Häuslein Hauler – a sleek-look recreational caravan for adventurous people.

Häuslein Hauler launched late 2022

Designed and manufactured entirely in Port Macquarie NSW, the Häuslein Hauler is a 8m long recreational caravan trailer with a clean exterior aesthetic and a bold black interior offering customers living & sleeping space at one end and a large toy storage section at the back. The Hauler makes for the ultimate fun escape caravan trailer comfortable to stay in and secure for all your valuable sporting equipment.

"The Häuslein Hauler was born out of our passion for dirt bike riding and mountain biking in the bush. We wanted to create a really unique toy hauler trailer which was highly-functional and attractive. We wanted to design something which wasn't cluttered by ugly vents, flaps, panels, and gas bottles commonly found on conventional caravans in Australia." says Scott Rohdich, Häuslein Co-Founder and designer of the Hauler.

"We want people to be able to take the Häuslein Hauler to the bush, beach or mountains and comfortably stay fully off-grid with all of their valuable bikes or boards secure inside the trailer. And when it's time to go home, people will spend next to no time unloading their equipment - ready for the next adventure."

Multiple configurations available. Room for up to 3 motorbikes or 400kg max weight of any outdoor sporting equipment.

"Strategically the new Häuslein Hauler model builds upon on the success of our core tiny house business and diversifies our product range into the caravan market with a bold new futuristic product." says David Boyd, Co-Founder and Director of Marketing at Häuslein Tiny House Co.

Customer Demand Surges for Häuslein Tiny Houses

Port Macquarie, NSW, MAY 12, 2020 - Consumer demand for Häuslein Tiny House Co, (www.hauslein.com.au) has recently surged and the company is working hard to increase manufacturing capacity.

The results of this increased marketing activity and the wide ranging effects of COVID-19 on the country has driven more people to consider living in a tiny house.

Appearing on national TV show Better Homes and Garden in early May 2020 is helping to take tiny houses mainstream in Australia.

The Häuslein tiny house build schedule for 2020 has maxed out and the build queue for 2021 is also filling up fast.

Company Co-Founder Sarah Rodhich says:

“Even before our recent feature story on Better Homes & Garden our build queue for 2020 had reached capacity and we were taking orders for 2021. We’ve had to create a customer wait list and cancellation list to help manage the demand in the short term.”

Customers are recommended to secure their place in the build queue as soon as possible while the company works hard to scale up manufacturing capacity and efficiency in order to meet customer demand.

The company are hugely grateful for the customers, employees, suppliers, and supporters who make their continued success possible, especially at a time of such disruption due to COVID-19.

Launched in early 2018, Häuslein Tiny House Co aims to contribute to the housing market and showcase a simpler and more sustainable way of life, without compromising on the finer finishes and modern comforts we all enjoy. Going from strength to strength, the company aims to bring manufacturing jobs to a regional town while facilitating Australia’s rising demand for high-quality tiny houses.

Led by experienced craftsman Scott Rohdich, each tiny house model is wholly built in their Australian workshop with the highest quality materials and workmanship. This includes a duragal chassis, termite resistant timber frames, stunning Trimdeck matte finish colorbond cladding with western red cedar feature cladding, solid pine internal paneling and Cypress Pine benchtops and flooring.

The demand for affordable housing paired with an increasing desire to live minimally with a reduced carbon footprint has led to a demand for tiny houses. The launch of the two new models addresses more of the market and makes affordable housing more realistic. With no need for a 30 year mortgage, high deposit or static location – these tiny houses on wheels are registered as a caravan and can be purchased with a variety of finance offers.

The ‘Häuslein’ brand name means ‘little cottage’ in German and is a nod to Sarah and Scott’s heritage and is synonymous with German manufacturing processes.

The young couple run the business together with two other directors, Sam Verlaan and David Boyd. The team believe in the company’s mission: to simplify how people live.

For company Co-Founder Sarah Rohdich it’s also a way of life:

“As a young family we are personally drawn to simple and sustainable living and prefer to forgo a draining 30 year mortgage. We love being able to put our own tiny living experience, as well as Scott and Sam’s trades experience into every aspect of our designs. This ensures that each design decision leads to maximum liveability, durability, aesthetics and functionality.”
