About the GUNYAH Tiny house
The Gunyah name means ‘house, hut, shelter’ in the local aboriginal language. We build our houses here in Herons Creek, NSW. The ‘Gunyah’, our newly released 5m tiny house, is more minimalistic in nature and has been designed specifically for short term stays – perfect for those seeking to be hospitable to family, friends and Airbnb stays. And since the Gunyah is under 3 tonne it is easier to relocate since it can be towed by most 4WDs.

FURNITURE OPTIONS
Hand crafted cypress pine feature bathroom basin
OFF GRID OPTIONS
Solar is best sourced locally for the purpose of any troubleshooting and/or install and maintenance advice.
Composting toilet (we recommend GreenLoo and NatureLoo/EcoFlo)
Incinerator toilet (we recommend Cinderella)
Water tank and pump setup usually best sourced locally to save on transport costs. Where possible we recommend water catchment from a nearby shed or house with larger roof space than the tiny house as the tiny house roof is generally too small a catchment area to sustain long term living water needs.
OUTDOOR OPTIONS
Deck Trailer (we are able to supply a trailer for you to DIY build a deck and awning onto if you would like it to be relocatable)
Entrance steps
Exterior cedar marine varnish

How to Use THE GUNYAH tiny house
AIRBNB GUESTS - The Gunyah tiny house has been specifically designed for guest accommodation. You may not need the size of the original Sojourner in order to host airbnb guests. For a simpler, more cost effective AirBnb tiny house, the ‘Gunyah’ has everything a 1-2 guests may need for a very enjoyable high-end stay.
EXTRA ACCOMMODATION - The Gunyah tiny house has been specifically designed for 1-2 family members or friends to have a very enjoyable stay on your property with their own kitchen, loft bedroom, toilet and shower and chill out space.
MOBILE HOME - Because the Gunyah is the smallest house in our range it suits more frequent relocation giving you the option for semi-nomadic travel around Australia if you wanted to.
